Transport and Commuting: Start with the Tuen Ma Line, Then Choose Your Cross-Harbour Route

Working in East Tsim Sha Tsui, West Kowloon or Hong Kong Island

City One station is on the Tuen Ma Line, with no interchange needed for Diamond Hill, Hung Hom, East Tsim Sha Tsui, Austin or Tsuen Wan West. For work in East Tsim Sha Tsui or West Kowloon, travel along the line. For Exhibition Centre, Admiralty and other East Rail Line destinations, change at Tai Wai. For Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay, change to the Kwun Tong Line at Diamond Hill.

If you live at City One and work on Hong Kong Island, distinguish between an office near Exhibition Centre or Admiralty and one in Central or Sheung Wan. For the first two, change to the East Rail Line at Tai Wai. For Central or Sheung Wan, make a further connection to the Island Line, or consider bus 182.

Buses for Sha Tin Town Centre, Tsuen Wan, Central and Sheung Wan

Route 49X provides options towards Sha Tin town centre, Tsuen Wan and Tsing Yi. If you regularly shop or dine in Sha Tin town centre, check the route alongside the boarding point you would use.

Cross-harbour route 182 serves Wan Chai, Admiralty, Central and Sheung Wan. On Hong Kong Island it runs along Gloucester Road, Hennessy Road, Queensway and Des Voeux Road Central, stopping at Admiralty (High Court), HSBC Main Building and Central Market before terminating at the Macau Ferry terminal. The Fortune City One transport guide lists nearby bus options.

Everyday Life: Groceries, Services and Riverside Activities

Fortune City One and Fortune City One Plus have supermarkets, a market, restaurants, homeware shops, clinics, laundry and education services for groceries and everyday errands. For a walk or outdoor activity, head to the Shing Mun River area.

Viewing a City One Flat: Room Use Matters as Much as Bedroom Count

  • For a 284 sq ft two-bedroom flat: Measure your beds, wardrobes and desks, then check doorways and furniture positions room by room, particularly if two people both need workspace.
  • For 451 and 688 sq ft three-bedroom flats: Decide whether all three rooms will be bedrooms or one will be a study. The same bedroom count can involve different overall space requirements.
  • Include the commute in your viewing: Walk from the actual block to City One station or the 182 boarding point. Identify the exit, stop and interchange direction you will use before deciding whether the flat fits your daily journey.

Earn Rebates Through Monthly Rent Payments

Once you have agreed the rent, use the RentSmart calculator to estimate rent payment rewards. Eligible rent payments give you an opportunity to earn rebates under the applicable credit card's reward terms.

*Calculation and Applicable Conditions

This example assumes an illustrative monthly rent of HK$15,000, paid entirely with the Hang Seng MMPOWER World Mastercard. The base reward is HK$15,000 × 0.4% = 60 +FUN Dollars. The bonus calculation is HK$15,000 × 4.6% = 690, capped at 500 bonus +FUN Dollars per month, giving a total of approximately 560 +FUN Dollars. The service fee is HK$15,000 × 1.6% = HK$240. The reward value less the service fee is therefore 560 − 240 = HK$320.

The Hang Seng offer requires registration and at least HK$3,000 in eligible spending per calendar month. This example assumes the entire monthly bonus allowance of 500 +FUN Dollars is unused. The promotion runs until 31 December 2026. +FUN Dollars can be used to settle credit card bills or redeem selected vouchers. The difference above is the reward value minus the service fee. Transactions must meet the applicable credit card reward terms. Actual rewards, rounding and posting are subject to bank records and decisions; the fee shown on the payment page applies.
