If two bedrooms are enough, the 592 sq ft Nam Tien Mansion transaction is a starting point for a budget of around HK$30,000. Working in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai or Central
Tai Koo station is on the Island Line, with no interchange needed for Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Admiralty, Central or Sheung Wan. Exits D and E lead to Cityplaza. If you plan to buy groceries or eat there after work, walk the section between the mall and the flat during your viewing.
For Tsim Sha Tsui, change to the Tsuen Wan Line at Admiralty. For Tseung Kwan O, change to the Tseung Kwan O Line at Quarry Bay. For Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay, make a further change to the Kwun Tong Line at Yau Tong.
Choose Buses by Your Workplace
Route 720 serves Central and Sheung Wan, while 722 goes to Central Ferry Piers. Route 110 serves the East Tsim Sha Tsui and Mody Road area. For Sha Tin and Ma On Shan, consider route 682 towards Wu Kai Sha Station.
Routes 720 and 110 run along Tai Koo Shing Road; 722 and 682 run along King's Road, so they do not all share the same boarding road. What Should You Check When Viewing a Taikoo Shing Rental?
- Decide how each room will be used: If you are comparing two- and three-bedroom flats, bring the dimensions of your beds, wardrobes and desks. Check whether the extra room can serve the bedroom or workspace you need.
- Walk from the actual block to your transport stop: Exits D and E connect Tai Koo station with the mall, but you should still walk the route from the specific block you are viewing. If you will take the 720 or 682 to work, walk to the appropriate boarding point on Tai Koo Shing Road or King's Road respectively.
